“The mattress was lovely and I got good nights’ sleep. Parking was excellent. Location is right on a main thoroughfare but nonetheless quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was adequately stocked; fridge, freezer, microwave all worked well. I didn’t try the stove and oven but they appeared to be in excellent condition. Altogether an ideal place to stay.”

“The purpose of this trip was to undergo surgery at the local hospital. Being an out-of-town guest meant looking for accommodations that would be suitable during our stay. This Inn provided exactly what we needed. We weren't concerned about fancy amenities but required a safe, quiet, good location, and welcoming environment. This business met all of our objectives.”

“Riding Fool Hostel never disappoints. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Rooms and washrooms are clean and well stocked. The only issue we had, given the warm seasonal temperatures, was that the rooms were uncomfortably hot at night. Fans were available however, they were not quite enough to keep the air flowing. Maybe an unreasonable suggestion but a vent at bottom of door and top of door frame would likely assist in drawing in the air-conditioned air from the common areas....

“Where do I start, the property owner and “property manager” are not in agreement about the space being used on VRBO. The owner tried to get me to pay him directly, do not do that. VRBO has a great reputation for refunding when people misrepresent properties. The people living here have taken over the property from a 78 year old man who has tried to have them evicted with the RCMP. The “property manager” and his girlfriend are really nice people, they will look after your pets and even help find...

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Woodshed. It was a relaxing one night get-away for me and my sweetie, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting our childhood haunts of Driftwood beach and Miracle beach. The Woodshed was cute and well-appointed and it was perfectly situated near the beach. ”

It was so much bigger than I was expecting and everything we needed was provided (and more!). The place was private and quiet, immaculately clean and the beds were insanely comfy. “We just returned from a 3-night stay at Dicky Bird. Property: The unit is small, but functional, nicely decorated, extremely clean and might have been renovated just recently. Karen and Jen were very responsive hosts. A bit more clothes storage in the loft would be helpful. Parking: The property is not accessible by car. Guests have to park in a lot that is an 8-10 minute walk away. Luggage transport is available until 8 or 9pm. You get one transport service included in the rental, or pay $30...
